The Elizabeth River Project and partner, Virginia Port Authority, are in
full swing to complete construction of Phase I amenities at Paradise
Creek Nature Park in time to open the 40 acres to the public by Dec.
31st!
Watch the video to see the temporary dam removed and the tidal wetlands
flow in for the first time, flooding 11 acres of wetlands restored by
Virginia Port Authority--bringing back to life an area of river that had
been filled since the 1950s.

more than two miles of trails, an entry road, "green" parking, and a
